VOW RENEWAL

Vow Renewals

Congratulations you're renewing your vows!

Let's make this day as magical, if not more magical than your actual Wedding day was!

Just like my wedding ceremonies, there are no rules, and you can have your ceremony when and wherever you wish.

Your Vow renewal ceremony is going to be a day to remember!

You want it created and delivered perfectly to reflect you as a couple and your love for each other.

Maybe you want to bring in aspects from your wedding day, use your original vows or have something completely different.

One mini ceremony of your choice is included.

Together we can create a totally unique Vow Renewal ceremony that you and your guests will love and remember forever.

Reasons to Renew your Vows

There are so many reasons to renew your vows. Milestone anniversaries, changes in beliefs, illness or you have been through a rough patch and are now ready to move forward together.  Maybe you want to renew your vows after one of you have gone through gender reassignment or you've become reignited throughout the pandemic and realise how much you mean to each other.

Whatever your reasons it doesn't matter, let's just make it a day to remember!

How do you secure your date?

A deposit of £100 will secure the date.

We'll schedule a meeting to go through your love story.

I'll then get to work on your bespoke ceremony.

Six weeks before the special day, we can take a look at any edits and final payment will be made.

I make a rule to only officiate one ceremony per day so I will be in no rush and I'll arrive at the venue half an hour before.

You’ll receive a personalised Commemorative Certificate, a presentation copy of the Ceremony script and any mini ceremony memorabilia.

What are Mini Ceremonies?

There are lots of mini ceremonies to choose from to include on your special day. Most popular for Vow Renewal Ceremonies are the Unity Candle and the Hand Washing ceremony.

The Unity Candle ceremony

One of my favourites. You will each have your own lit candle and together you will light a larger candle which creates a massive flame. This symbolises yourselves as individuals and being stronger and brighter as a couple.

The Hand Washing ceremony

A bowl of water with rose petals or lemon slices will be placed on a table and the couple will wash each others hands at the beginning of the ceremony. This signifies that you are starting again and putting any problems behind you and moving forward together.

The Sand ceremony

Your choice of coloured sands are blended together to create a gorgeous unique piece to keep which represents the joining of your lives. Some couples choose to include close friends or family members too.

Handfasting

Where the saying 'tying the knot' originates from. It's an ancient Celtic tradition and binds the two of you together. It has become a very popular ceremony to include in weddings and vow renewals. You choose the colour of the cords and this becomes a gorgeous keepsake.
